The RockShox Race Day lockout repair piston was developed by Andreani technicians to solve a reliability issue with the RockShox SID Race Day cartridge, both 32mm and 35mm versions, which contains a component that tends to deteriorate after just a few hours of use, causing the lockout to stop functioning.
The modification involves replacing the lockout valve piston with an identical one but equipped with a different, replaceable seal, allowing for future simple servicing instead of a full piston replacement.
This kit can be installed at one of our authorized service centers and requires the use of a specially developed tool, part number 14.F14.003.
